Key Insights on Top Websites in the United States in April 2026
The most visited websites in the the United States remain highly concentrated in April 2026. Google ranks first with 21.7B visits, YouTube follows with 10.0B, and Reddit moves into third with 2.3B. The top of the ranking is mostly stable: Google and YouTube hold the top two spots, while Reddit overtakes Facebook by one position. The gap is still huge. Google has more than twice YouTube's traffic, and YouTube has more than four times Reddit's visits.
The clearest mover is Getadblock.com, which jumps 44 positions to No. 78 and adds 21.8M visits, a 33.4% increase. Claudi.ai also stands out, rising 13 spots to No. 42 with 19.2M more visits. On the downside, Yandex.ru posts the sharpest fall, dropping 47 positions to No. 132 as visits fall by 50.1M, or 50.9%. These changes stand out because most other rank movement happens inside a lower-traffic band and is less meaningful.
The broader story is not churn. It is concentration. The top 10 most popular websites in the the United States account for 68.7% of visits across the top 150, almost unchanged from March. The top three alone generate 54.9% of all visits. Even with total visits down 18.7% month over month, the distribution barely shifts. Traffic declines are broad, but the largest sites keep roughly the same share of attention.
The most unusual signal is that the biggest ranking gain also comes with real visit growth. Many sites move up because competitors fall faster. Getadblock.com is different: it gains both rank and traffic, making it the strongest positive outlier in April's dataset.
